Knock Out Print and Design got its start in the ‘80s as a local, family-owned business that we created to meet the area’s business, educational, and spiritual community’s printing needs. With more than 40 years in business, our organization has since evolved to serve all the marketing needs of small and medium-sized companies, non-profits, and school systems.

About

Carol is a graduate of Bellevue University with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and a master’s degree in Transportation and Logistics.  Carol was born in North Carolina and as a child of a career Air Force father has lived all over the world and the United States.  Carol is a Director of Locomotives for the Union Pacific Railroad and has more than 20 years of experience in management and transportation.  Carol is married to Dan, our General Manager, and is mom to Payton, Danny, Nolan and Nick.  When Carol is not working, helping at the printing company or being mom, she enjoys hiking and traveling to new places.

Dan is a graduate of the University of Nebraska, Omaha and has more than 30 years of experience in sales and marketing.  Born and raised in Omaha, he graduated from Saint Robert Bellarmine grade school and Creighton Preparatory High School.  His wife, Carol, is our owner.  Together they have 4 children, Payton, Danny, Nolan and Nick.  Two dogs, Kiki and Mika who are part-time employees of the shop.  When Dan is not working or being dad, he enjoys officiating high school sports.

I’m all about empowerment and education at work. I want to help you make the biggest impact possible. When I’m off? I love to spend time in nature and creating with my hands. I am Nebraska born and love the Midwest, there is more to see here than meets the eye. This may be why I have never traveled outside of it. I am a graduate of UNO with a Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Studio Art with an Emphasis in Three Dimensional Design and a Minor in Religious Studies. I have been in the Print Industry for over 20 years. What more can I say? I love this industry and helping my client’s dreams and ideas come to reality.

Office Administrator

ABOUT

Currently seeking an experienced Office Administrator.

We are a retail print, design, and promotional company serving the Midwest. This is a full-time hourly position in a very busy service center. We are looking for a long-term employee that can build a relationship with our clients, work in a fast paced environment and can handle the fast pace while working with a sense of urgency.

Hours are M-F, 8 am to 5 pm. Salary depending on experience. We are a business casual work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Talks with customers by phone or in person and receives orders and/or gives quotes. Determines charges for services and product requested.  Filling of orders.

 Follow and Track Vendor orders to meet customer deadlines.

Accounts receivable duties include; collects deposits, collections of past due accounts, applying payment to accounts.

Solicits sale of new or additional customers.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications include the following: Customer Service Skills: manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness Strong organizational skills Is consistently at work and on time.

I love helping people and making sure they are satisfied with their designs. At the moment I am working from home, where I hope I am able to show that interest through my emails. Originally I am from Texas, where I obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art, Specializing in Graphic Design, from The University of Texas Pan-American. On my spare time I like to sketch and read space books. My greatest accomplishment is having my daughter, I love watching her grow and become her own person.

I have been in the printing industry since 1975 serving in all aspects in the industry. From running and creating new equipment and processes to running companies. There has been many changes in the industry over the years and I enjoy watching and learning the new trends and processes that are being developed each and every day. I enjoy partnering with customers to maximize their dollars and their brand marketing.
At home I enjoy my wife of 40+ years, Deanna and my Son Chris. I also enjoy 3D Printing, Restoring Cars, Golf and hunting.

-Ability to learn how to use high volume production equipment and related peripherals including a digital color copier and scanner.
-Ability to stand and move about for extended periods with only short rest breaks: reach, bend, stoop, etc.
-Simple mathematics equations with the knowledge of understanding unit conversion (ex. meters to inches, decimals, and fractions)
-Have the ability to lift, move and carry up to 55 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds regularly and climb 6-foot ladders to retrieve and or stock as needed.
-Accept coaching and direction.
-Answer the phone courteously and direct calls to the appropriate party.
-Maintain job flow of production utilizing job queues and other tools and techniques provided.
